Melba Copland Secondary School welcomes parents, guardians and prospective students from the Melba Copland Community to attend our Information night at our High School or College Campus. Experience live demonstrations in faculties which showcase the vibrant and inclusive learning environment at Melba Copland. This is also a great opportunity to meet key staff who can answer any questions you may have. Explore the school at your own pace or come along on a guided tour.

2021 marks twenty years of Reconciliation Australia and almost three decades of Australia’s formal reconciliation process. Reconciliation Australia’s theme for 2021, More than a word, Reconciliation takes action, urges the reconciliation movement towards braver and more impactful action.

Enrolling/Transferring - ACT Public Schools

Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using an online application form. Full details are available from the Education website.

(Please note, for the purposes of enrolment, Melba Copland Secondary School is a Category B school.)

Applications for 2022 will open at 6am 27 April and should be completed by 5pm, 4 June.  Enrolment applications made between 30 April 2021 and 4 June 2021 will receive an offer from 26 July 2021. Applications made after 4 June will receive their offers later in the year.

NSW Families

MCSS is the Priority Enrolment Secondary School for Northern area NSW students. The new enrolment policy requires that all prospective Year 7 to 10 students enrol at MCSS if they wish to attend an ACT public secondary school.

All prospective Year 11 and 12 students must enrol at MCSS if they wish to attend an ACT public secondary school.
