Pastoral Care and Student Pathways
Melba Copland College Campus has close contact with all students in their pastoral care and student welfare support. The Student Services team provide ongoing support to students through a detailed Pastoral Care group model. Pastoral Care teachers maintain contact with parents and students to resolve problems as they arise. Careers counselling is provided and a school counsellor is available for students.
The pastoral care model supports students in their academic progress through monitoring course packages, progress in classes and attendance.
Student pathways is linked to curriculum delivery in the first instance, as an integrated component in classes. Pastoral care arrangements will also be used to support students on pathways where needed.
Melba Copland College Campus is committed to supporting all students in their transition from the college environment to post compulsory education.
